Community Outcomes

community outcomes

Community Outcomes are all about the state of the region for the next generation to live, work and play in.  If we want to create the best future we can for them, we need to have a clear vision so we can work towards it.

What are community outcomes?
This explains the role of community outcomes in your area, and your region.

Community Outcomes in your area
This directs you to more information on the outcomes your local community identified.

Regional Community Outcomes
It is never enough just to think locally.  It is also important to think regionally because what happens in one part of the Bay of Plenty will affect other parts too. A shared vision for the future of the Bay of Plenty region is essential for a prosperous future.

Ten Year Plan
Our 2006-2016 Ten Year Plan shows how Council will work with other organisations over the next ten years to achieve the vision identified through the community outcomes process by the Bay of Plenty community.

Community Outcomes Survey
Environment Bay of Plenty has completed its first perceptions survey to find out the attitudes of Bay of Plenty residents towards the Bay of Plenty Community Outcomes. The telephone survey took place between February and March 2007.

If you would like to contact us about the Regional Community Outcomes, telephone us at 0800 ENV BOP (368 267) or email us at info@envbop.govt.nz
