The Lake
Rotorua Monitoring Buoy was installed by Environment Bay of Plenty in a joint
partnership with Waikato University.The site forms
part of the Rotorua Lakes Protection and Restoration Programme.
The buoy provides continuous monitoring of a variety of lake
conditions. Data collected will be utilised to
monitor and assist with the improvement of lake health.
