Data is normally updated every 6 hours. If data is not up to date it may be because we are experiencing technical difficulties at the monitoring station, in which case the data will be updated as soon as the difficulties are overcome.
The information displayed on this section of the web site is that data received via radio telephone directly from Environment Bay of Plenty's environmental monitoring stations. The information is therefore provisional because it has not been checked or audited. Users are cautioned against using the information in matters of safety or for any purpose where the wrong information may cause harm or loss.
