IDENTIFICATION
Soft-wooded shrub, 3 m high. Leaves 80-200 x 30-150 mm, plant is covered in very fine hairs. White, pendant, trumpet-like flowers 200-300 mm long.

HABITATS
In and around settled areas. Waste places. Only locally common.

IMPACT TO BIOTA AND ECOSYSTEMS
No real impact.

DISPERSAL ROUTES, VECTORS, INFESTATION SOURCES
Garden escape. Grows freely from cuttings and dumped garden waste. Seeds are not found.

Fell shrub and treat stump with herbicide.
